Thai Elite Visa Requirements

Featured Replies

I noticed on the requirements; adjudicated bankruptcy is a disqualifier - would this include a bankruptcy done in ones home country over 20-years ago?

Hmm.  I haven't read all the fine print.  In the USA in general one doesn't have to report bankruptcies on employment or even security questionnaires that are more than 7 or 10 years old.  You don't have to keep carrying that albatross around your neck.

The question is whether there is anything in the application that gives them access to your credit or court records in your country. Do they even ask for your social security number if you are an American. If not, they have no way of getting this information anyway.

I think they are referring to bankruptcy here. They don't do a full background check when you apply for Thai Elite membership. Only a check of records here and Interpol wants and warrants.

20 years ago will not even show on your credit report So I would totally ignore the question plus I thing it is referring to Thailand not your home country

It just seems like such an odd question to a foreigner coming into the country.

I wouldn't trust an organization that has no functioning customer service department.  The fact that you are posting questions here certainly means your efforts to contact Elite directly have failed.

You got me on that one. I did not contact the service with the question. I wanted to get an outside view of responses, perhaps from actual users of the service. Are you saying the CS is lacking at this organization?

Don't embarrass yourself by talking about what you obviously know nothing about. I've had a Thai Elite Visa for two years and the customer service is excellent ... and is available literally 24/7 by telephone and email, and also during business hours at their center.

Beware of tv.com experts who make things up. I can tell you from two years of personal experience that their customer service is excellent.

NO. you will be just fine, they just want your money for membership to be deposited ASAP to their KTB account. Rest no issues.

You don't know that his efforts to contact Elite directly failed.  You don't know that he tried to contact Elite directly. There are many reasons why a person might not want to ask Elite directly about some things, not necessarily this issue, or they may have but then wanted another opinion or interpretation from a different source.
