DANANG, Vietnam (Reuters) - Moscow has been receiving contradictory signals from the United States on a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin meeting and U.S. President Donald Trump in Vietnam, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

Peskov also told reporters Putin would meet Trump on the sidelines of APEC summit in Vietnam "one way or another".

The White House said on Friday Trump will not have a separate meeting with his Russian counterpart.

Now Putin can share the same frustration as Americans and the Western nations have experienced since Trump was elected.

Welcome to the Cult of Chucky.

Welcome to the Cult of Chucky.

Who or what is the Cult of Chucky, and what does that have to do with the meeting of 2 of the world's greatest leaders?

No doubt Putin is frustrated thanks to this year long frenzy amongst the liberal elite in America accusing him of breaking the US elections and installing a president that did not deserve to win. But, I expect that Putin, like Trump, understand the psychology of losers and will not interfere in the collective temper tantrum that has had 24/7 media coverage since the Greatest day ever - last election day.

Putin and Trump should meet, if nothing else,  to start conditioning the left that meeting between world leaders is just what mature leaders do, and there is no need to be scared of the Russians - the cold war is well and truly finished - just like it was oh what 40 years ago?

How about all the murdered journalists? Well, I guess there's no point in telling them that.
