Hackers play 30 minutes of Islamic State propaganda on Swedish radio

 

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Some listeners to commercial radio station Mix Megapol in Sweden heard 30 minutes of an Islamic State propaganda song on Friday after hackers took over the station's frequency, the station's owners said.

 

Mix Megapol is one of Sweden's biggest radio stations with around 1.4 million listeners daily, although the problem affected only listeners in the southern Swedish city of Malmo.

 

"Somebody interfered with our frequency using a pirate transmitter," Jakob Gravestam, Marketing Director at Bauer Media Group, which owns Mix Megapol, said in a press release.

 

"We will report the incident to police and to the National Post and Telecom Agency."

 

The song, with male voices singing in English, featured lyrics such as: "For the sake of Allah we will march to gates of the paradise where our maidens await. We are men who love death just as you love your life, we are soldiers who fight in the day and the night."

 

The hosts of popular morning show 'Anders & Gry with Friends' did not notice the problem until listeners called in and asked what was going on.

 

"A lot of people have called us about this. We are very happy that people are vigilant and we treat this very seriously," Gravestam told website 24Malmo.

Malmo is a little Muslim town, so it probably would appeal to them most. 

For many towns in the UK this is normal music ,

So they were forced to listen to idiotic diatribe presented by buffoons and fools? So is that any different to what is usually on?

In what parallel universe is a few minutes of religious propaganda on the Swedish radio more newsworthy than 16 bombings in a month?? Is there any connection at all between the group that did the radio hack and the 16 bombings(that are being buried by news outlets)? 

No biggie in Swedistan... give it time and a news flash will be like:

there was 30 minuet of Swedish music played today and no one

had his head chopped of or blown up...

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Sweden has a terrorist attack in the near future. The Swedes are way to easy going with these matters. I here Malmo is the pits by many people.

Just try a bit of digging on the net and utube concerning 'terrorist' attacks in Sweden and as you have said....you wouldn't be a bit surprised. It seems they are taking place a lot more than is let on.

ISIS obviously sees its target recruitment demographic as loser Muslim males who have nothing going for them in life. Why are western governments so blind that they are allowing millions more of this demographic into western society? There will be even more trouble ahead unless something is done to stop it. Maybe it's too late already?

I would be wary about relying too heavily on Imanuelson as an impartial reporter. He clearly has an agenda.

Malmö is the third biggest town in Sweden. Filled up with Muslims since decades. That city get 500 millions dollar from the government every year to support all those "refugees".

What 16 bombings?  I've yet to have seen a bombing get "buried" by news outlets. LOL.

I just checked with my buddy who is from Sweden.  This stuff is all over the news.  In the Swedish language.  It's just not in the international news.  Just like the robbery that happened in White Fish Montana last week. LOL
