90 days report still pending after 3 weeks

Featured Replies

I completed the report online on October 22

The due date mentioned in the paper in my passport is November 05

So today I wanted to check on my application and I see that it's "Pending".

What should I do?

Thanks

This means your local immigration office hasn't processed the report, so you'll have to go in person.

Go to your local office to make the report. You should take evidence that you made the report online otherwise you might get fined 2,000 baht for reporting late.

Whenever reporting online you should report in person if the online report isn't approved by the due date.

I can't go to the office because I'm sick. And don't have a car. Etc.

I'd like to try to fix the issue from my condo...

Do you know on what email address does the immigration answer? Because I sent many emails but never got any answer.

What is an email that works with someone clever answering to the requests?

Even the hotline doesn't work and I'm sure it would be hard to understand each other because I'm not a native English speaker. They are not too... etc... email is better.

I'll probably leave Thailand on February so what if I do nothing and just fly out? Although I don't want to do that very much because I like when everything is in order :(

I could also print the pdf from the page showing that I filed the request on October 22 for a due date of November 05. And send that with EMS to their office?

Which office do you report to? Each office has a different email.

Not sure mailing it do them would work since you already late.

It's Sri Racha.

I thought to send it both to Bangkok and Sri Racha with all the copies necessary for a report via registered mail EMS.

And I'll also add the printed screenshots showing that I did the online reporting on time 3 weeks before the due date.

And add an explanation letter.

What do you think?

And if all this still doesn't work, I would travel one day to the office.

What's the risk of waiting a few more weeks anyway?

Go to the office, the sooner the better.

I would only send to it to Sri Racha. Bangkok probably would not do anything with it.

Immigration's website and contact list does not even show Sri Racha immigration. It only shows Chonburi immigration in Jomtien.

Nothing worse can happen now other than the 2000 baht fine for late reporting.

Do you have somebody that can go and make the report on your behalf?

As you are now late for reporting then you may well have to pay a fine even though you did try to make the report online.

Thank you but I read on the immigration website that when you are late you can't send someone and have to be in person.

Thank you.

Well then I'll try to do the EMS thing first.
The worst case is that next month I'll go to the office myself and pay 2,000 THB, right? So it's not so bad. But it will make me lose a full day because I'm far from every office. That's why I'm trying everything I can to fix it from my place first. I hope it makes sense?

Thanks for your great advice as always, Ubonjoe.

Oh dear, didn't realise that, then that is a problem.

Too late now unfortunately, however, If in the future this were to happen, then it is worth noting that anybody can submit a 90 day report, it does not have to be in person (if on time) and if making an online report and there has been no confirmation by a day or so before the report due date, then it is probably worth using this option if unable to do it by yourself.
