Hello,

I have gone ton Khon Kaen immigration office one time many years ago and I have forgotten the way I have used to go there.

Songthaew maybe ? Or what do you think a taxi will charge for go/wait/back (I'm Kosa hotel) ?

I'm going for a 30 days visa extension : something special or different from others immigration offices in Thailand ?

Thanks !

It's a breeze. KK immigration was one of a number of reasons we opted to move here. It's where the police training centre is inside the same gate just past KKU on the opposite side of the big rd from the uni. Say 1km up rd from uni heading away from the centre.

Youngish lady really nice lips and bright lipstick is extremely helpful and efficcent.

Kosa not too far from the bus station so I paid 120 on a samlor to the immigration centre. I caught bus back to bus station for 15 baht I think it was. All info is based on a trip there 2.5 months ago.

Hi, you can go by bus 4 costs 9 Baht you give to the driver after hopp off

from bus terminal or number 4 also run on na muang road to the north

very often and very easy and go back same way - to go to you can cross Mithrapap over bridge

Take Songtaew number 20 (Light Green) to KK immigration (9 baht).  You will pass Sri Nakarind Hospital and  the main entrance to Khon Kaen University (traffic lights) then you need to stop the bus when you can see the next footbridge across the Highway coming up, cross the footbridge and the entrance to the immigration office is just up the pavement on the left.  Inside the compound keep left and the immigration office is across the car park.   On the way back into town the Songtaew will pick you up by the footbridge.

Hi, thanks to everybody for your answers, I really appreciate them. Now, with PREM-R answer mentionning the footbridge, I have remembered the previous time, I have take a Songthaew but as I was alone inside it after few stops, it didn't want to go until the immigration and I had to wait for a new one ! Anyway, I'm going to try again with Songthaew, I believe I remember they are in front of the old bus station, on the opposite side of the road ? No problem to walk from Kosa to this old bus station, I have done it many times.

Thanks again everybody for your help !

P.S. Thanks jeab1980 for the map, I have also used GoogleMaps to locate it.
