New form and requirements for a Tourist Visa in Australia

Featured Replies

Royal Thai Consulate in Sydney now has a new form for Tourist Visa's.5a14ec538342f_ThaiTouristVisaRequirements2017.png.668004778b5c818bc36d2f6d25960ba9.png

The way it reads you have to pre-book accommodation for the entire trip. I've never heard of such a thing for Thailand. I thought only Bhutan and North Korea require this.

The second option is incoherent.

Not sure about the accommodation actually being needed.

I cannot see them asking for something the embassy does not ask for.

That's the same form that the Thai Consulate in Sydney used to have. Now they have a new one, check the Sydney Consulate web site. Much prefer the old one.

Here's part of the new Sydney Visa form, quite different from the Canberra Visa form5a15703fa537e_ThaiVisaForm2.png.ba0a92b67e02baa6b1b12bb6e2151799.png

These requirements are exactly the same as I have had to provide (including the Accom.details) for the last TWO years to the Paris Embassy.  I thought it was the same everywhere.

I stay in a very large GH  but the owner never seems to know what to do.  Is it only the French Embassy that asked  for it?

Sydney does not really have a website now with info on it other than some file downloads.

This from the home page that has been like that for months now. https://thaiconsulatesydney.org/
