New USA Passport

Featured Replies

I just got my new USA passport with letter from Embassy to Thai immigration about transferring stamps from old to new. I wish to do this at Pattaya and am wondering do I just need to take in both passports or are there some forms or copies I need also. Thanks.......Willyum

They may not transfer the stamp if you are not on an extension of stay. If you only have a visa entry they will tell you to do it on departure from the country.

If you have an extension. This is the form to complete. Transfer Stamps To A New Passport

You will need a copy of both passport photo pages. Copies of every page of your old passport with a stamp or visa for here on it.

Thanks Ubonjoe. I am still on an extensioon of stay. I didn't think it would be made easy. I have my old passport for ten years of extensions of stays and visas.  A lot of pages. I for sure will use an agency. For 1,000 baht not worth my time at this time of year. Thanks for your help and advice.

I thought an agency would charge more  like 3000-5000 baht...
