Remove nasal polyps in Pattya?

Featured Replies

I am looking for a place in Pattaya where to remove nasal Polyps...Anyone out here who has been removed lately his nasal polyps in Pattaya?

Welcome all suggestions and observations...

First if all, is it certain you need this surgery? I ask because it is one that is frequently performed unncessarily, and often fails to provide the expected relief.

Initial treatment is medical, not surgical, and surgery would be advised only if the condition failed to respond to medical management.

If surgery is necessary it is important to combine it with appropriate medical treatment of the underlying cause, which is usually chronic inflammation.

You need to see a good ENT. While there are several ENTs in Pattaya I don't have a basis for recommending any of them, none of them western trained AFAIK and the  nly feedback I have seen has been for simple things like ear cleaning.  If you can get into Bangkok I do recommend this doctor:

Prof. Songklot Aeumjaturapat

He can be seen at:

Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok not Pattaya branch) https://www.bangkokhospital.com/index.php/en/find-a-doctor/doctor-profile/?id=189&doctor=Dr._SONGKLOT_AEUMJATURAPAT

St Louis Hospital on Sathorn - less expensive  than the above. His hours used to be Thursday evenings and all day Sunday but call to confirm.  http://www.saintlouis.or.th/index  (website in thai only)

Chulalongkhorn hospital after hours clinic - least expensive of all but you can't make an appointment without going there in person and there will be long waits

Well I haven't got my glasses on, so hope this post turns out ok.

Firstly, does your blood line have a history of asthma?

You must check this and see the best ENT you can.

I don't want to alarm you too much but they can turn cancerous. Not a spreading cancer but an aggressive soft tissue cancer.

I won't go into details now, but best to get them removed with a Great ENT specialist, and check them.

Maybe medication will do, like the last post suggests. I don't know. But if they keep coming back.... you need something more aggressive.

Try the soft touch first.

I had this done after I was released from the Navy at the local VA hospital and couldn't have been more pleased.  I've never had further breathing problems during allergy season since.

Very painful recovery though.
