sendintheclowns
i need help/advice from a Danish expat. One who gave up his/her passport for a non- EU one (Australia in my case). I was born n Denmark, emmigarted to Australia many years ago. I moved to Thailand a few years ago. My Danish Government pensions are based on my work record in Denmark and Australia. My pensions are paid to my bank in Denmark. I use my children's hone address in Australia for post to and from the government (eg the life certificate). It would be easier if I changed my address to Thailand. Some one in Denmark told me that if I moved here I would lose my qualificatin for my pension, because I hold a non-Danish (Australian) passport. I checked Borden.dk.pensions rules; but they are not clear to me. Very worried, as I lost a year's pension due to the LIfe Certificate never received by the Danish Pension office (appealed not allowed). Thanks to anyone who can help me. Link to comment
