I live in KamphangePhet, do I submit my extension of stay paperwork at the KamphangPhet Immigration office?

Yes. You apply at the office that covers the area you live in (address on the application).

Thank you all for replying.  My last 90 day report, a cop in uniform at the immigration office was asking me a bunch of questions and the subject of what type of Visa I had.

 

Long story short, he must have miss understood my question or maybe I worded it wrong, but he told me I needed to go to Bangkok.

 

 

So how did you word it, I may ask??? If you left out the keywords like "retirement" or "marriage" maybe you were just too vague to be understood...

 

Sometimes you know it is not the receiver of the questions that have a hard time, sometimes it is also the man who phrase the question..

The photo does not look like the KamphangePhet Office I have been going during my last two 90 day reporting periods.

I don't recall exactly how I worded, but the cop was looking at my passport at the time, so I just blurted out, something like "can I renew my visa here."

 

So, I agree that he miss understood my question, based on me not saying do I get an extension of stay here at the KamphangePhet office.

 

But, you would think that a cop in uniform, asking me numerous personal questions, looking at my passport and visa at the time I asked my question, would say, you just need an extension of stay, not renew your visa.

 

But, it's all good..

They could of moved since January when it was posted.
