Nursery school teacher apologises for mistreating kid

 

 

A teacher of a nursery school in Lat Krabang district has apologised to the parents after a video clip which showed she was unreasonably mistreating a kid, about 3-4 years old, in her care was posted on Facebook.

 

The 6.37-minute clip was posted on Nov 29 on a Facebook page of “Maen Pho Dam” by a user, who said the incident took place at a nursery school of Jittra community in Lat Krabang district.

 

In the clip, the teacher was doing harm to a kid, about 3-4 years old, by beating, pulling the kid’s head and limbs and confining the kid to a place – in an apparent overacting manner.

"After the clip went viral, a woman appeared in a television programme of Workpoint Channel that it was she who was in the clip.  She denied having an intention of hurting the kid.  She said she only wanted to teach the kid not to be unruly and rude."

 

She thought teaching him to be a bully was a more important lesson.

And to think there was another so called teacher in the room just looking on

Can people change ? Do people change ? not particularly often over the age of 21; but i guess in thailand apologies cure all, until the next such similar incident

I'm pretty sure that both these "teachers" were shown on the original video assaulting the kids.

This happens a lot and the mail instigator is the Education minister and his staff. If an adult hits another adult the police come arrest him and fine 500 and to say sorry.

in many Western civilised countries it is against the law to hit a child. It is banned in New Zealand and the parents can be taken to court, a bit over the top really, you need to be able to just give them a little smack on their bum or back of the legs. It is the only thing some kids will understand.

what this teacher did was really over the top and she should have been prosecuted and sacked from her job.

why does this place even Have laws; just use apologies instead; murderers apologizing to their victims,etc

The teacher was applying the same rules the Govt uses, Intimidation and threats of and actually using strong arm tactics to get what she / they want. She is followsing the leaders instructions ..Thainess rules.

But an apology makes everything better...........not living in the real world just like others in charge.

So nice..... All forgiven and forgotten....

Wonder what the world will think of the Thais, when these videos start to turn up worldwide....

 

What do you mean wonder, they already are, and some comments are really illuminating .

Hopefully  not accepted  by the  parents who  have  stopped  sending  that  child  to that  school. Best  outcome would  be  they are  preparing  to  sue  !

logic in there; consider tho, if a farang was caught doing this and performed the same celebratory wais, apologies and such, think the end result would be the same as a thai ?
