Get logo off Xiaomi mi aI screen

Featured Replies

I'm learning to love my phone but after I turn it on a logo "mi.com" displays in the middle of the screen and remains for the whole session.  The utube vids are in Hindi. How to get rid of it? Can't figure how to attach a screenshot.

Cheers

The phone was recently released first in India, hence ...

Are you sure its not just a wallpaper? I have a Xiaomi and the MI.com logo shows until the phone has started up then the phone apps show.

If you are only seeing the MI.com logo that means the phone is not starting up properly, if thats the case you need to MI Flash tool and the fastboot ROM file and find a tutorial to reflash the software.

Thanks mtls2005 and 2008bangkok.

It's not a wallpaper thing, I just took a photo, enabled it as the wallpaper, and mi.com is still there.

Being reluctant to flashing etc. when I am so new to the platform, I'll try to get more android information before following the flashing steps.  I got a message about the new Android version being available.  If I install it, do you think this will fix this issue?

BTW I sent an email to Xiaomi support; no response, haha.
