Police clearance certificate

Featured Replies

I need to get a police clearance certificate soon. I have seen the Thai Govt. website

http://www.pcscenter.sb.police.go.th/eng/#

which is not particularly helpful but I guess I could go to the police building indicated and try to get it done myself. However, there's a link there to https://www.a-plusservice.com/

which seems to be (private?) service which says it can get a foreigner a PCC for a fee of 4500b. It asks for a bunch of docs and since it's linked from the police site seems legit.

Question: has anyone experience with either? Other suggestions? Thanks.

Google found another private service

http://www.fastcheckservice.com/index2.php

in case anyone has experience with them.

Bumping this up in hope of a reply.

This file has the required document for the police clearance certificate. http://pcscenter.sb.police.go.th/filedownload/infomation-service-4.pdf

I have not done it myself but is seems fairly straight foreword from reports I have seen.

The advantage of using the agent comes into play if you are not in Bangkok already or are not in Thailand.

Thanks, ubonjoe. Actually, I am in a bit of a rush so the 7-15 day guarantee of the private services seems attractive - in case of dealing directly with the police center I have no idea how I would expedite in case they are slow. The only question with the outsource outfits is their reliability.

I think I would use the one that the link on the PCS website leads to.
