Diazapem prescription - Pattaya

Hello after some advice. I occasionally have bouts of very mild anxiety which I have under control. I have never used medication for my anxiety as it is so mild (as suggested by my doctor in the U.K), instead I frequently excercise and frequently meditate. The mediation has made my anxiety completely bearable and I would recommend this to anyone.

There is something however that can trigger the panic and that is claustrophobic situations. I was prescribed Diazapam for my flight out here and they worked well. I am making a short return trip to the U.K for a job interview. I would like to legally obtain some Diazapam for the flight. Can anywhere suggest where I can legally obtain a subscription? I don't mind paying a little bit for the consultation and medicine but would like a hospital that isn't going to charge through the roof for a quick visit.

Many thanks.

Pattaya International Hospital, Soi 4, expect to pay 1900 Baht for 20.

Price is what it is, you can't avoid paying for the services provided even though you don't want them.

But first, you have to see a doctor there to write the prescription. If you are not on a non stop flight, you need permission from the country that you call into and get their permission to bring the drug into their country, transit lounge. I know everybody will say you will not be searched whilst in transit, if you  are searched and the drugs are found, will they be prepared to do the time , take the caning, for you?

You may possibly get it from a clinic w/ a prescrip, but not normally. I wouldn't think it'd be worth it to go the hsp route. (See above.) Consider Atarax instead:

A somebody who first took valium in 1975 and xanax for a few years I would opt for Atarax these days, almost as good and far longer lasting than either, also over the counter and cheap, 25mg.

Sorry for the double post. I have a direct flight with BA too and from London so don't have to worry about any stop overs. What would the law be with carrying Atarax? Would I still require a prescription.

I have taken both valium and Inderral (propanolol)

Valium is available only at Hospitals Pharmacy on doctor's script, a visit to mental health department will get you that, in Thailand there's 2 'brands' one private one and another from GPO the Government Pharmaceutical Company which is prescribed at government hospitals, which might be cheaper, but navigating the Thai hospitals like Banglamung to get them to take you to the right department in English with English speaking specialist might be a challenge,

a visit to international hospitals like Bangkok Pattaya or Bumgrunrad in Bangkok will set you around 1000 baht a blister pack of 10, plus doctor's consulting fee and hospital fee of another 6-800

I've been given Inderral which is a beta blocker to be taken three times a day and that has acted as a 'circuit-breaker' or a disconnect from anxieties  plus they're available at pharmacies without doctor's prescription

I still don't see what you're getting at, he asked where he could get Valium, I told him, at PIH Soi 4, he would of course have to see a doctor and would get a proper prescription, hence the 1900 Baht charge.

This Forum, never fails to amaze me.
