Possible to get a 3 month visa when flying in?

Featured Replies

Whenever flying into Thailand previously, they always have given me a 30-day visa. Is it possible to get a 3-month visa When you fly in and go through immigration at the airport? And if so, what is the procedure? Thanks.

What you have been getting on arrival is not a visa but a visa exempt entry. Except for the few countries listed above,  this is for 14 - 30 days depending on the country. 30 days for most western countries.

You should obtain a tourist visa from a Thai Embassy or Consultate before travellng.  You will get 60 days on entry and can extend for an addiitonal 30 days.

You can only get a 30 day visa exempt entry on entry to the country unless from one of the countries mentioned in the previous post.

The only visa that can be applied for on entry is a 15 day visa on arrival if from one of the 21 countries that qualify for it.
