My seventh retirement extension is due in June 2018 at Chiang Mai.

 

We normally travel a fair bit however not so much lately due to ill health. My last entry was November 2016 from Narita.

 

My question is; am I required to exit and re-enter the country before next June?

There is no requirement for you to leave the country. You can stay in the country indefinitely as long as keep applying for new extensions.

Thanks ubonjoe, I thought as much but wasn't sure.
