A question for my son. He came over in May with a six month multi entry tourist visa stamped 3rd May and first used 6th May. He got a 30 day extension in BKK on July 4th and then did a Cambodia run on August 3rd. Another Cambodia run on 23rd Sept and a 30 day extension at Jomtien on 21 November. His current stamp runs out 21st December.

I have been told that, if he flies to Laos for a few days around the 14th of this month, he can get either another Tourist Visa in Laos or a 30 day stamp when he flies back?

Thanks for your help. Don't want to see him stuck outside the country. Wife and I are retired and would like him here for Christmas.

He could get a single entry tourist visa at Vientiane Laos without a problem.

Having a METV before does no affect getting visas or a 30 day visa exempt entry.
