Hello,

Β

I want to transfer the company car into my name but I don't have the residency certificate as I never stay over 90 days in Thailand to ask for the paper, you need to do a 90 days report first in Bangkok to get it. I travel often to work to another country.

Β

Now I'm moving to chonburi and I would to know if it's easier to get the residency certificate there or not. No my embassy wont do it as they said the thai immigration can do it.

Β

Best regards,

You not need to stay more then 90 days to get the certificate from immigration.

Not in Pattaya. They will issue one to person on with a 60 day entry from a tourist visa .

A question as im curious to know as Pattaya Land Transport Office requires proof or residence from both buyer and seller. OP says company car, is it in company name/what is in the log book, if so how would one show proof of residence for the company.Β

Go to your Embassy for a Residency Certificate,Β  much more expensive than Immigration butΒ they could care less about your 90 day report statusΒ

The OP wrote this.

Not the first time I have heard of an embassy saying that.
