Smokemachine
Got a Non-Imm O marriage visa from Savannakhet Laos. The visa expiring in February 2018. The 90 days due date stamp inside passport is in January 2018. Would like to ask must we go to Savannakhet Laos to renew our Non-imm O marriage visa in January 2018 OR can we fly out in January and received another new 90 days stamp? Will the immigration officer granted us another 90 days although the visa expire in February? Or will the immigration just give us remaining days till February? Lastly, is procedure in Savannakhet Laos still the same? Thank you
glegolo
Yes you can go out in january, get your 90 days up to april, altough it will be beyond the validity-date in your VISA.. glegolo
JackThompson
If it is a Multiple-Entry Non-O Visa (you would have paid 5000 Baht for it in Savannakhet), then you can leave and re-enter any time up-to and including the "Enter Before" date on the visa, and obtain a new 90-days permission-of-stay. Edited-out reference to 90-days reporting, which I believe is not relevant. I assume the "90-days due date stamp" really means, "90 days permitted stay stamp." Yes you can. Any new entry between now and the visas expiry date (Feb 2018) will receive a new 90 days. 5 hours ago, Smokemachine said: Lastly, is procedure in Savannakhet Laos still the same? Yes it is. But depending on your last entry you don’t need a new visa until at least April, or at the latest July if you enter in Feb and extend that 90 days by 60 days.
