I need to renew my Non O Marraige visa got a UK marraige licence which we had translated and certified in Thai but I only have a photocopy left, will they accept a photocopy or do I need another rather expensive original

If you are talking about a new extension of stay I would think the copy would be all you need as they world have others on file. But if you are talking about a new visa from a Consulate they might well want to see the original before accepting the photo copy for file. As said it would be best to have wife call and ask.
