Thai court throws out case of trafficked men

An appeal by 11 Cambodian fishermen allegedly trafficked and enslaved on fishing boats in Thailand before their rescue last year was dismissed Thursday by a Thai court.

 

A previous decision this year found that the 11 Cambodian plaintiffs could not prove they had been forced into work and held against their will.

 

The Appeal Court Region 8’s decision to reject the appeal was issued at the end of October but read to the public last Thursday, according to Nishkhan Usayapant, case manager of Human Rights and Development Foundation’s Anti-Trafficking Project.

Look, when do you see the top guy in drug syndicate taken to court? It's always the small guy and isn't it funny with all these drugs flooding the market there must be more than just one big drug lord. I don't see any of them caught.

Now, slave trade is very profitable so the top guys are never prosecuted. Let's just say all the top guys were caught and sentence to death or long term prisons then who is going to give money to all those (you know who)people. Their children go to international schools (in Thailand) their mistresses buy Prada shoes- who is going to pay for all these?

So it's a mystery isn't it?

I guess if you cross their path, they have steel drum and cement. Then they ship the steel drum to the middle of the ocean and dump it. Can anyone find you?
