Forkinhades
Basically have a 1st floor room, which is 4x4 metres, there is 1 aircon installed. So where would be the best place to site an extract fan, which will take out the hot air. The roof already has a whirlybird fitted. Kwasaki
Hard to say without pix, usually outside wall of the room out of the sun.
RichCor
Unless you're trying to create a vacuum environment, any air you extract will get replaced from *somewhere*. I'd suggest installing a complementary filtered vent that will draw in the coolest air available. Installing an extraction fan may allow better fresh air exchange, but your air conditioner may become less efficient.
cooked
Your A/C unit is already extracting hot air, unless you want to lower your power bill I can't see much point. An extractor should be at the hottest place in the room, which will be up near the ceiling and above any heat source like an oven or fridge. Forkinhades
Yes it will be ceiling mounted, which then would extract the heat into the loft space, where the whirlybird is installed. Operation would be on initially then off once the room was cool. As I guess it wouldn't help after that. Would also run during periods that aircon is not used.Sent from my SM-N950F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
