Multiple Entry Non O (Based on marriage) Vientiennee / Laos

Featured Replies

Hi,

Apologies as I have asked about a few places for the same visa.

Anyone have any info if we can apply for the Multiple entry Non 'O' based on being married to a Thai in Vientiane? If so what requirements.

Also, is there any other resources that anyone knows about where consulates or embassies are listed as to what visa can be applied for with what requirements at each one?

Vientiane will not issue a multiple entry non-o visa.

The consulate in Savannakhet  Laos will issue one without financial proof. You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card signed by her.

Yes it is very difficult to know :-) Maybe only 10000000+ posts saying that it's only at Savanakhet...

to be fair to him mate, they often change things around at the drop of a hat, so no harm in him double checking to be on the safe side ; )

How would we know for sure if they are going to change the rules tomorrow? Surely, checking the forum and seeing what the rules were a couple of days ago is, for practical purposes sufficient. There is no need for the question to be asked every day.

no harm in it either Timothy 555. For some people if they haven't done the run before they just feel safer getting fresh info.

you see mate, you are correct. Savannaket same rules. i went to Savannaket earlier in the year for the same visa. Learnt after that I could go HCMC which would definately have been my preferred choice. HCMC same mate. also, there are flights early enough to HCMC to go in the morning put your application in, stay ONE night and pick up your passport and fly back to BKK in the evening. HCMC great for a night too whereas Savannaket, well boring is putting it mildly

might not matter but the little things can be handy. you say 'we'. you know that you can apply for that visa by yourself in case your mrs is busy. wouldn't make a difference in savannaket, you'll need the company. if doing in hcmc, well mate, go alone 5555.
