Another round of cold weather during Dec 31-Jan 2

 

 

Thai people in most parts of the country except the southern region will experience another round of cold weather from Sunday until Tuesday due to strong cold front from China which is now covering Vietnam and Laos.

 

The Thai Meteorological Department predicted that the mercury in the upper part of Thailand would drop 2-4 degrees Celsius, beginning on Sunday, starting with the northern region which will be hit with the cold weather followed by the northern, central and eastern regions.

 

Meanwhile, the northeastern monsoon which is looming over the Gulf and southern region has gained strength which will result in more rains in the South with heavy rains in some parts of the region. The sea is rough with waves about 2-3 metres high.

Let's hope so because this week ended badly with min 20 at dawn and 29 in the afternoon . Bring on the cold front , please !

Unfortunately no cool weather for central parts of Thailand. Temperatures will not drop below 20 at night and from Wednesday the minimal temperatures will be around 24 degrees.

some people like the 20 / 29 temperature range and do not want a cold front  and the  8 / 19  degrees range!!! ... but of course we do not control the weather just where we live ... 

so happy New Year whatever the temperatures ....

Enjoy the cooler weather, while it lasts.  We'll be back to "normal" in no time.

Will put on my socks for sleepy time and hold my long underware for later....???
