They reported that restaurants and the beaches on a two kilometer stretch were full of happy people enjoying the beautiful surroundings with hotels full to bursting. Children were playing joyfully at the shore making families happy. INN had visited the area of Bang Sak beach in Takua Pa district. Chuchart Orncharoen - the director of Tourism Authority of Thailand operations in the area - confirmed the good news. He said that 70,000 tourists had visited the area with the 10,000 plus rooms showing 95% occupancy. He said that the tourists would bring in 0.6 billion baht.
