Idiotabroad
I have been told, as an American, I can use an affidavit of income from the US embassy as proof of funds apposed to having 400k in the bank. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
ubonjoe
You can use a income affidavit to prove the 40k baht income needed to apply for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage. You will need to make an appointment to get it. Info here: https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/notaries-public/income-affidavit/ Immigration will accept one that is up to 6 month old.
