Re-Entry Permit at Aranyaprathet/Poipet border

Featured Replies

Hello,

i'm traveling to Bangkok and i already got a tourist visa (single entry). I'm planing to visit Cambodia for a few days and got question about the re-entry permit because my return flight is from Bangkok and got a single entry visa only and my stay in Thailand after Cabodia will be more than 15 days (VAO for me will be valid 15 days).

I know that re-entry permit is possible at both Bangkok airports. I cannot find any information about re-entry permit by land (border Aranyaprathet/Poipet). Can someone confirm that a re-entry permit there is possible?

P.S. i know that there is an immigrations office in Aranyaprathet but i'm not sure if a re-entry permit can be obtained at the border not in the city.

Thank you!
Best regards

Yes re-entry permits are available at that crossing.

Thank you! And what about when i'm arriving in Bangkok, bevore my trip to Cambodia? Is it possible to obtain re-entry there? I think its the same office like this one for VOA.

You can only get a re-entry at the Bangkok airports when flying out. You can get a re-entry permit from the main Immigration Office at Chaengwattana, Bangkok.

Thank you! Then i will make the re-entry at the border Aranyaprathet/Poipet, i don't want to waste time in Bangkok. Thank you again!

Just to confirm, when you refer to a visa on arrival do you really mean that? Most nationalities, if from developed nations, get a (free) visa exempt entry with a 30-day stay when arriving without a visa. If you are unsure of the difference, state your nationality, and we will confirm whether you get a visa exempt entry, or must apply for a visa on arrival, when arriving at Poipet without a visa.

Hello did you get a re entry in aranyaprathet border?how's it going?

OP  -- Do you realise that a re-entry permit adds no addition time to the permission to stay date obtained when entering the country?
