BANGKOK — Hej! Fans of affordable Swedish furniture – and we know there are a lot of you – now have a date for navigating a new maze of oddly named products.

Wow, this is real close to my home around 4 km from me. I am quite happy as I liked the one in Mega Bangna. I wont be buying that much furniture but mainly the foreign foods. For me this is a great addition to the shops in my range.

Come on, the meatballs served at Ikea Bangna don't even remotely look like this.

I was there last week and they even didn't have ANY meatballs, only vegyballs

We was 1 hour in traffic jam, 1 hour trying to parc there (all full) to find out that they didn't have them.

next time just do valet parking in front of ikea, its free (they use to charge 40 baht, but not anymore!). Finding parking at megabangna is crazy on the weekends.

It was extreme busy, we parked at Watsadu and walked back....but from now on we don't need to go to Bangna anymore, too much hassle.

As funny as that is, I actually had a friend in Australia who was the manager of an IKEA store and had never assembled one item of IKEA furniture.

Yes for you and for me too this Ikea is far closer. I will be quite happy when it opens. I have some things I want to buy. I waited a long time as I knew a new Ikea was going to open.

same here, I've been waiting for 2 years ever since their announcement. I've been going to the mega bangna one which takes me an hour. The new one will be 15 minutes away for me.
