Not self serving. I guess you didn't read the links I posted for fear of being proven wrong. There are millions of people who think the same way. It's called respect for women and morality. Ever look at the world and actually see why It's so wrong? Ever wonder just how many girls and women in Thailand get by without entering the trade? They work regular jobs. They have family that supports them. They have homes they can stay at with their children, instead of leaving them behind with grandma, and we see daily what happens with that. If prostitution is to exist legally here, there should be changes to protect the women. What happens when it's cracked down on, as it could be, although unlikely as it's a major part of tourism here, and it's illegal with arrests for all involved, and not just the traffickers, pimps and bars? If these women weren't in the trade, do you actually think people in Thailand would starve? If you do you don't understand how people live here. 250,00 sex workers and only 30% are in from poverty. I didn't write this and the other 50+ articles on this. I didn't do the many studies on how they live. I didn't open the homes and shelters for them to have a place to go. All I did was offer my thoughts on an article, and say how others reply shows how they think. It surely did that. How many replied how they think about what's written and how many attacked my character because I support women's rights and hope they find a better solution?
