webfact Posted January 15, 2018 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Dept of Land Transport to unveil 2 new bus routes in Bangkok BANGKOK, 15 January 2018 (NNT) - The Department of Land Transport (DLT) is preparing to launch two new bus routes, in addition to reforming the existing lines to improve public transportation quality and connectivity. DLT Director-General Sanit Promwong said the first new route will start from the Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute and end at Ramathibodi Hospital, with at least 48 trips per day at 13-25 baht. Its free trial run is scheduled for January 16th - 20th. The second new route will start from Rajamangala University of Technology, Rattanakosin Salaya and end at Mo Chit BTS Station, with at least 48 trips per day at a 40 baht flat fee. The line is scheduled to open in February.
