Soon the European travelinsurances won't cover Thailand anymore or you'll have to pay extra to go there and be insured.

Nonsense. This shows a very limited view of what's going on in Thailand and the rest of the world.

There are accidents weekly, divers driven over by speedboats or abandoned by the captains, fined for feeding fish, passengerboats that collide into eachother or catch fire, westerners electrocuted from touching a streetlantern and so on......

And when i took a boat from Riley beach i had to scoop water nonstop because the waves were coming overboard and the outboard motor had broken off its stand so my friend had to hold it in place.

Welcome to thailand.
