We bought the land around 8 years ago, the rubber tree owner does not live on the land and simply ignores anything we say/do, we have had trouble with overhanging branches on both his rubber trees and palm oil trees for several years as the fenceline is along all adjoining land (over 2 rai), he has planted all the trees as close to the boundary as possible with around 1.5 to 2 metres between our fence and the trees. Unfortunately my wife avoids confrontation and to get her to complain is extremely hard, she says if we complain then we will suffer as the owner is local and has family all around us, we have only ever been able to talk to their workers never the owner. Falling trees/branches have damaged one of our fences, have dropped branches on our roof and fallen into our yard, they simply ignore us, they even set fire to the vacant block between our house block and our tree block at one stage and caused damage to our tees, they are extremely ignorant, makes me want to just grab the chain saw and take out all the trees along our boundary but that will then fall back on us, I highly doubt the law will help us.
