Panthongtae “Oak” Shinawatra, the only son of fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatr, today (Jan 24) sought justices from the Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) over the handling of a money-laundering charge in connection with Krungthai bank loans.

In the letter submitted to the attorney-general by his lawyer Chumsai Sriyapai, Mr Panthongtae accused Kachornsak Buddhanuparb, a public prosecutor in charge of the case, of being biased and partisan which reflected in his recent interviews with the media.

Mr Panthongtae called on the OAG to suspend Mr Kachornsak from duty.

He had the so called loan, giving it back when found out,

does not negate any charges, lets hope he gets  justice,

but not what he would like.

I am all for justice for Panthongtae. At least 10 years of justice, that is.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but I am sure you are right. I never pray, by the way. Nor tell.

Because with all the money he allegedly received through a dubious Krungthai Bank loan he still only could afford vintage 1960s frames from the flea market?

He simply needs to learn to 'lend' watches.

He's just following the usual Shin family footprint - obfuscate, deflect, accuse officials of bias, demand a ludicrous amount of "defense" witnesses (what on earth are the going to say when he had the cheque, banked it and gave the money back when found out?), and demand "justice" which they seem to think means they must be let off.

Daddy tried it, Auntie tried it, now he's doing the same. But no actual denial of the offense or explanation on why someone gave him 10 million baht. Wonder if he'll do a runner too?

Would you care to explain why you think it was ok for him to receive a 10 million baht loan from someone his dad had just fixed a big and unwise bank loan for; and then hand it back quickly when found out?

Even Oak doesn't deny that.

Statute of limitations expires around 7 June this year.

The folks the authorities said (some time back)  could provide further testimony have already since asked several times for extensions of time before they report to testify,

Now asking for more people to be allowed to testify?

Why does he want so many folks to testify? Just how many people were involved???

Looks like just a structured attempt to get the opening of testimony past the statute of the limitations date???

Where's the fake news?
