Yes, and if we're headed to a financial crisis like bank meltdowns (very possible) as Obama inherited and largely very competently fixed, who in their right mind would trust the "trump" gas guzzling car of assorted economic clowns to address that? Due to "trump" the U.S. and the world is in a time of very high risk.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, has yet to announce that he is running for re-election this year.  Very inauspicious for the GOP.

Really?
The only reason he wouldn't run is if he thinks he will lose the seat. If he loses the seat, it would make it harder to run for a bigger office. I suppose that could be in Wisconsin or even to challenge "trump" (or Pence) in 2020. A similar thing happened with Pence. He was expected to probably lose a reelection big for Governor of Indiana. The VP offer saved him from that.

Just go ahead, republicans.

I dare you.

Go ahead and run on bully mocking democrats for calling the "trump" tax cuts crumbs for the masses.

Because maybe some day the TRUTH will out.

Just finished my 2017 taxes. My accountant informs me that if 2018 income is equal I will pay an additional $2,000 in FIT. I make it back on reduced healthcare cost(still extortionate) by leaving the "Healthcare Marketplace". Basically a wash.

A long-time political commentator pointed this out a few days ago.

Consider the possibilities: he could win, but if the Blue Wave comes to pass, he will no longer be Speaker.  If the GOP keeps the House their ranks could possibly contain a good share of rabid MAGAts, and he'd have to contend with them, with a possible GOP uprising to replace him.  Or a few other scenarios...

Strictly my perspective here, I think Ryan would not run for POTUS because he has aspects of his personal life that, if come to light, the god-fearing patriots could not ignore (*wink*)

Hey, any truth to the rumor that DT had an affair with RuPaul?

87 pages and ,just 238 votes out of how many members of this forum and over 21,000 views....?

With 127 being a slim immoral majority wanting The Donald to see out his  term as Plutocratic Kleptocrat in Chief, with a mandate to make 'merica great for a privileged few...... A position that was handed to him by a gerrymandered Electoral Collage (sic) in the face of a defeat in the popular vote.

With just a 16 vote gap it is hardly convincing, given that in the early days of this poll there was a slight majority who did not want the present White House incumbent to see out a full term. A few more days, a few more votes and the position could well change again.

Regardless of what ThaiVisa members vote, methinks he will be gone before 2020 comes around.

Give them a break. When all you have is hogweed, vegetable and meat trimmings, you make soup and give it a fancy name like Russian Borscht, serve it up with great fanfare and pretend you’re feasting instead of barely holding on. Sad.

"trump" -- making the white house even MORE white.

P4TNEV4ACY64BCMCKIBKODWQUY.jpg

206 "trump" white house interns including 3 black men and zero black women.

I'm sure his deplorable white nationalist base loves that.

MAWA not MAGA.

Nobody is expecting precise representation of minorities. But that is toxic and indefensible.

Next year, if Trump is still around, we will look back nostalgically on this photo as the “normal” times.

Because next year, all the interns will be double D blond porn stars.

Regardless? I think the majority are right. And I do mean right.

The outcome to the 1st question :

Do you believe Trump will be impeached or forced to resign?

57.83% of 505 have voted NO.

The outcome (so far) to the 2nd question:

Do you WANT Trump to finish his first term?

53.33% of 258 members have voted YES.

It is clear to me that the (silent) majority of TV Members, do not believe that Trump will be impeached or resign, and a (silent) majority also want Trump to finish his first term.

Unlike the US POTUS Elections that are based on the College Electorate System, in a straight out Democratic voting system (Yes or No) like Scott has used, it is very clear that the (silent) majority of TV Members support Trump as POTUS.  It gives me great delight to acknowledge that fact and to remind you that TV does not use a gerrymandered voting system.

I would also like to point out that the US POTUS Election system was specifically designed that way in the Constitution and refined the 12th Amendment of 1804, so that a few populist States (eg. CA, NY, FL, TX) would never be able to force their political views and will over all the other  States.  I would remind you that it is the United States of America and all the States each have a very large say in how their people are Governed - hence the huge difference in policies and laws between California and Texas.

Logic clearly is not your strong point is it.

"Do you believe Trump will be impeached or forced to resign?" -  An answer of "no" can be because someone thinks Trump has done no wrong, or alternatively it can be because people do not trust that congress or due process is robust enough or has the courage enough to actually make a moving oust the criminal.

"Do you WANT Trump to finish his first term?"  an answer of yes can be because you love Trump, or alternatively it can also be given by the good number of TV members that see Trumps reign as brightening up an otherwise dull and dreary day and as being essential to US comedy central giving the rest of the world the best laugh it has seen in decades.

So it is quite impossible from what you term "a straight out Democratic voting system (Yes or No) like Scott has used" as being any reliable or logical mechanism to conclude "it is very clear that the (silent) majority of TV Members support Trump as POTUS." - because the truth is, many do not think that. They think he is an utter clown and the best laugh ever when they turn on the Television or read the media.

As for all the illegals who voted for Hilary, I wonder how many people with multiple accounts on here voted to get that number up to 53%? Clearly the number is no way representative of current US opinion.

I am glad you are 'delighted' but be warned, life is a roller coaster and Trump and his supporters have done all of the upward journey.

Forget Stormy for a minute. When it rains it pours for impeachment porn.

"trump" may be forced to BARE ALL ...:partytime2:

of his tax returns.:sorry:

It's about the EMOLUMENTS clause:ph34r:, don't ya know? No, that is not a type of Vaseline.

This Trump legal defeat may force Trump to decide: His presidency or his businesses?

We may finally see Trump's tax returns.

In a decision with far-reaching implications for President Trump, a federal court ruled this week that a lawsuit could go forward claiming he unconstitutionally received foreign emoluments — that is, monies from foreign governments explicitly prohibited by the Constitution — from his hotel in Washington.

"There is a great deal of denial about Trump and what he reflects about American society. He has given people permission to act on the worst aspects of human nature : he is a greedy, craven, untruthful bigot and bully, the living product of a celebrity-driven popular culture prefaced on distraction and crudeness. So essentially Trump normalizes pathological behavior."

"trump" keeps squawking FAKE NEWS attacking every news item that criticizes him and any news organization (especially CNN) that tells the truth which needs to include a bucket load of criticism of him to be the truth.

Sounds like the American people's reply is FAKE PRESIDENT.

Impressive thing about the figures above is he has never dipped below 35% since the day he descended the motor stairway and announced his candidacy and denounced the Mexicans.  "He's our boy and we gonna hear nuthin' else!"

The Base.

Twisted logic is clearly your strong point. Let me try to untwist you. Go on - try to listen and then decide. Stop the twisted auto pilot.

Take a look at the number of posts on this and the previous post I mentioned.  The vast overwhelming posts are negative towards Trump. And that is not just because of a lot of posts by a few dedicated hard-core Trump haters - the vast  majority of posters are anti-Trump.

Given that - given all that - you are trying to say that over 50% voted that they 'WANT' Trump to serve as POTUS , because they did not want to vote 'NO' and say they did no WANT Trump to serve as POTUS.  And you are saying that even though the vast majority of posts/ers are all negative towards Trump.  Twisted.

I guess you feel that people voted for Trump in the US Election not because they didnt want Clinton as POTUS, but because they wanted to have a laugh.

IMO most posters couldn't be bothered 'arguing' with the rabid anti-Trumpers, but felt they should vote and show their support for Trump.  Anything other than that conclusion is clearly a case of twisted logic.

Worst since WW2?

I think they're being generous.

More like worst EVER.

Poll: Trump picked as worst president since World War II

A plurality of American voters believe President Trump is the worst commander in chief since the end of World War II, a poll released Wednesday found.

The Quinnipiac University survey showed 41 percent of American voters think Trump is the worst of the 13 presidents who have held the office since 1945. The same poll also shows Trump with a 38 percent approval rating.

Entertainment survey vote gives comfort !  It feels comforting to know that the closet Trump voters are alive and well on Thaivisa. With that republican Russmusan poll going up steadily(at 50% favorable rating,) gives a indication that the base  still has confidence despite the constant  relentless demonizing of  PT by the deranged sometimes hysterical liberals who continue to obstruct and resist.
