Has a hollow ring for those of us renewing from Thailand who aren't permitted to use these online services.

Nor to remit direct.

Slightly misleading headline. Children's passports, going up by the same amount as adults', will represent an increase of 27%. Adult passport fee will increase by 17%.

Try reading it again.  It's accurate.  Note the "up to" part.

I think you will find this, like many other things blamed on leaving the EU,is nothing to do with leaving the EU,still in it by the way, a new contract comes up soon and new passports will have more security implants,still no need for extra costs though,it's far too expensive now for a little book costing a fraction of its price to produce,and if as said, it's to do with the on-line procedure,surely that should bring administering costs down.

At present the standard passport fees for applicants in the UK are £72.50 for adults and £46.00 for childeren. If these proposals were implemented in full it would result in increased fees of up to £84.80 and £58.40 respectively (as rounded to the nearest 10p) - but presumably less if the online system is used for renewal.

The standard fees for renewal from Thailand currently stand at £83.00 for adults and £53.00 for children. If increases of the order of magnitude as proposed for UK applicants were implemented here the resultant fees would amount to £97.10 and £67.30 respectively (again as rounded to the nearest 10p) - to which, of course, would need to be added the courier fees of sending an application from the With-It Building to the UK and the replacement passport from the UK to the With-It Building (which may or may not be increased at the same time).

The monthly stipend and housing provided for the unemployed immigrants needs to be funded somehow.

This would have more revelence than Brexit.

Applicants need to submit at floor 28 of the Trendy Office building on Sukhumvit Soi 13.

Wherever the With-It Building is, it's not the correct location.

Well done. :clap2::clap2:

It only took you 53 days to come up with that clever comment.
