The Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation will hand over the first amount of donations from rocker Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai’s Kaokonlakao (Step by Step) charity run to 11 public hospitals on Feb 25.

 

The hospital director Maj Gen Nimit Samothan said today (Jan 31) that Phramongkutklao Hospital foundation, which is in charge of collecting the donations from the 2,215-kilomtre charity run, would conclude total amount of charity cash-giving for the scheme by today so that it could give the money to 11 public hospitals that are in need of the fund to procure medical equipments for use.

 

But he said the foundation would continue to receive donations from the people until May 31. Until today, the total donated amount was 1,368.4 million baht, according to the Kaokonlakao Facebook page.
