Ten ex-governors likely to be reinstated after being cleared of corruption

Ten former provincial governors who were moved to inactive posts in the Prime Minister’s Office pending investigation into alleged corruption are likely to be reinstated after they were cleared of the allegations.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said Sunday (Feb 4) that he received reports from the probe panels clearing the 10 former governors of suspected corruption, adding that he would propose Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to reinstate them to their previous posts.

He clarified the delay in the investigation, pointing out that the probes were carried out by panels set up by the office of the permanent-secretary of the PM’s Office who is not the supervisor of the ex-governors and, hence, there was the problem of cooperation from the Interior Ministry, their supervisory body.

So, cleared by a group of people who obtained government by force. Yeah.

I can only imagine the pathetic feel sorry excuses coming from the corrupt pigs.

So 10 government people from 10 different provinces were removed from their posts and investigated for corruption. Then 10 officials from 10 different provinces were found innocent.

Not sure of the significance of that, but odds are that things are not as they seem.

The mind boggles.

When ' i borrowed them from now dead freinds" as a plausible excuse that works almost anything else can be used AND be accepted. Its so rediculous here, they always bang on about " for the love of * and country". But the reality is most everyone is 100% in it for themselves be dammed the country or anyone else. Its suprising how well they cover that up to the outside world.

Id  pretty  much bet everyone in any govt job is  corrupt, they  will all try to make some "extra" on the side.

Who is probing the probe panels would be a probing question?

I wonder if Prayut's removal of 15 provincial Governors made under the special powers provisions of Article 44 in April 2017 is related to these 10 provincial Governors now being released from inactive stations? Apparently no specific reason was given for their removal. https://www.thephuketnews.com/breaking-news-pm-prayut-orders-phuket-governor-transfer-effective-immediately-61677.php#yHFc2LfYYY1fuLEE.97
