Bail granted to Western ‘porn dancers’

Featured Replies

The Siem Reap Provincial Court has granted bail to seven of ten foreigners charged with producing pornography at the end of last month. Yin Srang, spokesman for the court, said that “seven of ten foreigners charged with producing pornography were released on bail on Wednesday”.

“They may not leave the country because their passports were taken away,” he added. Mr Srang said the provincial court finished the investigation into the case yesterday. Investigating judge Chhe Virak declined to comment.

Sourng Sophea, a lawyer for the ten foreigners, said he did not know seven had been released on bail because his clients did not contact him.
