Another senior member of the  FBI has just resigned in protest due to Trump's behaviour.

 

Sadly the Electoral College put in-place a President who repeatedly disrespects, indeed encourages, disdain for the Rule of Law. Trump is on track to likely cause long term damage to the environment, economy, cohesion and respect for the USA. Trump is unfit to represent the Office of the President of the USA.

He is more a/b being a dictator than an elected official. Congress is complicit. They are not defending our U.S. Constitution or doing their jobs. They are all about power/wealth/Trump. I hope they all receive what they rightly deserve. I recently put on my "to read" list: Forged in Courage by Harvard professor Nancy Koehn.

Oh I hope you are correct. Q: What if lying man in effect has Mueller fired and the investigation stalled/stopped? We all know congress is complicit with the dismantling of America. They do NOT protect the U.S. Constitution. Where is our protection?

As it stands now, Americans can change the Republican majority in the House and Senate in the November 2018 election. But where is their protection from further Russian intervention in the election that favors pro-Trump congressional supporters who will protect Trump from impeachment?

Mueller must bring some indictments in February to keep Republican congressmen at bay. Hope Hicks would make a deadly target.

January 22, 2019 can't come too soon.  

In the meantime, decent Americans will have to wait and hope Trump and his cohorts don't cause too much damage and/or start a stupid & diversionary war.

 

Republicans won't join in to impeach the treasonous prez, any more than a wife who witnesses her husband abuse their children will tell authorities about the abuse.  They're duty-bound to back the prez no matter how outlandish his lawlessness or how much he shits on American institutions.  They can't sway from the partisan cause, ....unless perhaps they're not running for re-election.
