Correct as far as the diplomatic passport is concerned. I had to surrender mine (UN) to be able to claim my pension. But in the Thaksins' case they should be given travel documents from the countries of asylum since, UNHCR wise, they are political refugees.

Most countries in the world accepts a copy of your passport first pages and a copy of your valid visa/stamp together with a receipt for your visa application. See, no problem!

 

Outside of the passport was red. I talked about the pages, and they were, and are, blue.

To sum it all up, you were right in almost nothing.

 

As I have my passport on the desk next to me (issued in the UK on 14th March 2017 I find that the cover is indeed red and the pages are indeed green and not blue. The official writing and notes on the passport are in blue.

 

IMHO to quote your first line above

Funny it's always Titanium members here that try to get my back up! The room/forum can decide who they work for!

I have to laugh whenever politics is "discussed" each has their own opinion convinced they are correct, great way to divide people and keep them off your back? The illusion of choice, if a truly "democratic" government was indeed elected not only would it be a first, it would also make no difference whatsoever to the average person, there all corrupt with their own agenda handed to them by those that allow them to get into power first, if the wrong people do get into power? we have seen what happens then!
