Newbiequestion Regarding Touristvisa.

Featured Replies

First of all as a firstposter, let me say hello to everyone.

I am holding a danish passport with a touristvisa. The 30days extension ends 31 januari. I am here only on holiday and want to stay here until 20 april. After reading posts here from on and off basis I have learned that you are entitled to do three visaruns when that 30day extension is finished(i. e. 90 days in six months). Am I correct so far?

That have made me begun to wonder why some ppl make serious overstaying. If they can´t apply for a non O a simple option would be like this: 1. Get a doubletourist visa. 2. After it finished stay on your 90 days VOA (i. e. 3 visaruns). 3. After that, get a new double tourist visa in penang (or someother place). If that process is doable you can stay here on that basis as long as you want. Am I right or wrong?

Secondly, I am planning to do my visarun to Myanmar in the northern thailand via a thai city named Mae sod in province Tak. Is that possible or do I have to do the run in Ranong with all other backpackers? If so what should I think of?

Have a good day

No Consulate in the area is likely to issue a double entry tourist visa.

Yes you should be able to use 3x30 visa free entry to extend your stay.
