webfact Posted February 22, 2018 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Knife attack on fellow student at Samut Prakarn school Picture: Thai Rath An M6 student attacked an M5 rival with a foot long knife on the basketball court of a Samut Prakarn school, police said yesterday. Seventeen year old "Jay" was left with slashes to his waist, chest and right arm after the attack following classes on Wednesday. Samrong Neua police said the attacker was an 18 year old from a M6 class who is in a rival group. The pair had arranged to meet outside school to settle differences after someone threw a bottle at a house. When the older boy went and got a knife from inside the school the other boy fled in panic but was caught at the basketball court and attacked repeatedly. The 18 year old fled to a friend's house nearby where he was soon found along with the knife. He has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
