Anyone using Citi LINE Connect?

Featured Replies

Since many years my wife and I use credit cards from Citibank Thailand. This morning I asked Citibank Thailand if they have a LINE account. They said, yes they have and I was given the link via SMS. In the message it says: "once you arrive at the chat screen click green "Register" button on the left side of main menu. Then you can enjoy the service." I cannot find any green button.

Does anyone here have registered with Citi LINE Connect? I think to be connected with them via LINE is a great advantage, especially if you are travelling in a foreign country.

Hit the HOME button, then the Chat button and it should open with the registration screen visible:

Thank you Langsuan Man, very kind of you.

This only works on your Android app, not on your PC, so the problem is: after you have filled in all the answers to their questions, you receive a code which you have to fill in on their LINE account. In order to see that code, you have to close LINE and  go to your Message app. Once you have the code, you have to log in again into Citi LINE app. Once you arrive there, the page to put in the code is gone, because you had to close it ....

So, how did you do this?

Answer: with multitasking. Completed registration. Please forgive, I just turned 72. But I still go with the time, sometimes ahead of it. I'm trading cryptos every day and make money, even though they're down.

You have to understand that LINE is primarily an app for mobile devices and if you have more than one device you have to have a separate LINE account for each device

The LINE program for the PC is just a supplemental application and consolidates your device LINE apps in one place, but you cannot just have the PC program, you must have it on a mobile device first

I would be willing to pay LINE to have cross device comparability but I think their business model prevents that so they can sell you stuff for each LINE account.   In other words,  if I wanted to purchase some of their Emoji's then I would have to purchase them for each of my LINE devices

I personally only like LINE because it makes photo sharing super easy versus attaching photos to emails
