My point is the Labour Party has no business aligning itself with the rightwing project that is Brexit. Well I guess Labour have to show some attempt to line up with at least part of the manifesto that they used to do so well with in the last general election; after all they have already backtracked on nearly everything else! Don't worry, there is a good chance that they will U-turn on Brexit too! Brexit is not a project but a term used to describe the outcome of the referendum, that was won with a majority vote for leave. The EU, however is a project and it can be seen now that it is not working out very well. The EU is a project which is in the process of failing. I have seen no evidence that any significant section of leave voters were hard right or even particularly right wing. Leave voters seem to be mainly what I would call centre right and left. Outside London, millions of Labour voters also voted out. Edited April 5, 2018 by nauseus

IMO, Germany would have the best excuses to leave the sinking boat also called the European Union, now with countless ex- Eastblock members. Common sense desperately needs to beak out. We are a democracy, not a Junta and the people voted. If there is chaos its because of the politicians inability to enact the will of the people, if you think that will change in 20 years time then you are living in the clouds. This should have been done quickly and efficiently and matters tidied up afterwards, then in 20 years time they could re-join if they held another referendum and that was the people's will, however I think you would find a much better Britain after 20 years freedom from the shackles of Europe....imo 7

By whom exactly??? Can you show me something from the Daily Mirror even? BBC has been pro-EU since Cameron announced a referendum in his election campaign for 2015. I see no difference now. Maybe a few, more balanced news/politics formats see both sides, otherwise it is anti-Brexit. Anyway, the game is over.
