Rimmer
Nongprue police urged to control Raiwanasin Market traffic PATTAYA:--Soi Siam Country Club residents are calling on Nongprue police to clamp down on chaotic parking at the Raiwanasin Market, which has seen business boom since completion of the roadworks project. So many cars and motorbikes are parking and double-parking illegally that only one of four lanes is open for commuting. Traffic has become a mess and accidents common. Nongprue Clerk Teerawit Thongnok said he’s received a steady stream of complaints about the traffic, but local police have done nothing to control it. Traffic officers acknowledged there was a problem and promised to survey the area and come up with a traffic-control plan. -- © Copyright Pattaya Mail 2018-03-
Thian
What about writing fines or is that too much work? If so then make a picture of the offending vehicles' licenseplates and do the paperwork at the office with airconditioning.
matsellah
How about they do something about the intersection right there, beyond the dangling flashing yellow light (which serves no purpose other than to force large trucks to swing around it). Maybe having a Brown shirt stand there all day directing traffic will cause some dissension in the squad room and then they'll start writing tickets for the obnoxious parking. Happyman58
Hang on a minute Are the police asked to do there jobs? Omg fat chance that happening. Nobody will get a ticket. The public Know there so called police force and have no fear of them. It will be business as usual just like the law that banned people riding in the back of pick-ups. I still see it nothing has changed might as well pick the paper up the law is written on and throw it in the bin

Only direct action like towing and crushing will prevail and that's IF you can get a cop of his buttocks without the promise of money.
