gk10002000
Absolutely nonsensical article. The risk is the same. Just more kids go in the water that can not swim, so more drown.

There is never a shortage of places at the Wat. The nearest pool to me is 15 km away and is quite small, followed by a reservoir about 25 km away. We used to go up into Mae Wong national park but with the lack of rain for the last several months the stream and rapids just aren't there at this time. Well all in can say to you as a parent, is do whats impotent. A bit of petrol and a few hours ? do the journey maybe 15 times and kids should be confident in the water by then. Sorry but get on and do it. the alternative could be a visit to the Wat and you don't want that. Edited March 6, 2018 by stanleycoin
