Justice Ministry to propose revised Anti-Money Laundering Act to Cabinet meeting this week

The Justice Ministry will propose the revised Anti-Money Laundering Act to the Cabinet meeting this week. Eight more punishments were added to the act.

Meanwhile, the Information and Communication Technology Ministry has prepared to call for the Cabinet to approve amendments to an international telecommunication agreement. It will also introduce the second part of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization Protection Bill.

The Ministry of Labour will submit measures to support the operation of the special economic zone in the five Southern border provinces.

The Interior Ministry will ask the Cabinet to approve budget for the installation of more CCTVs in the five Southern border provinces, while the National Security Council will submit a strategic plan on border security which is expected to be in effect during the years 2007 to 2010.
