PHUKET:-- More than 100 local residents from poor communities in Phuket massed in front of Phuket Provincial Hall yesterday (Mar 6) to file a letter to Phuket Governor Norraphat Plodthong asking him to urgently resolve problems across 23 Phuket communities.

 

Phuket Vice Governor Thawornwat Kongkaew met with the protesters who are members of the ‘Phuket Community Network’ and were led by Sinchai Proajeen.

 

The group are calling for an update on requests they had previously filed, including:

 

That the ‘Sa Tonpoe’ community in Chalong needs to be urgently checked.
