jgm005
I just recently sent my paperwork into the Atlanta, GA Honorary Thai Consulate in Atlanta, GA for a tourist visa. I have done this countless times but I just got an email back from them that the NEXT time I need to apply in person. I also just called and got the same requirement. IN PERSON. I asked if this applies to the Royal Consulate in Washington, DC and again was told yes. Has anyone else encountered this?
ubonjoe
They stopped allowing the honorary consulates to accept mailed in applications a long time ago. You can do them to the embassy in DC by mail or to one of the official consulates in New York, Chicago or Los Angeles.
jgm005
I guess the Atlanta Consulate was late in acting on it for I just did one 6 months ago. Thanks for the update
