RuamRudy Posted March 17, 2018 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Our company imports western supermarket goods to Philippines for retail distribution, but we want to increase our number of ASEAN suppliers for practical reasons - faster shipping and mostly zero import duty on products make them very attractive. We are going to Thaifex food expo in Bangkok at the end of May so I am compiling a list of Thai companies that we can hopefully visit there, who manufacture the types of products we are looking for: mainly savoury snacks, cookies, ambient ready meals (i.e. not chilled or frozen), herbs & spices, beers... With that in mind, would anyone care to recommend their favourite Thai manufactured, supermarket products that we might seek out? Quality of packaging is important - preferably with English text, but not wholly essential if the manufacturer is keen to develop outside Thailand anyway.
